File Upload Restrictions:
- Only
Images files are acceptable (i.e. *.jpg, *.gif, *.png, *.bmp,
*.tiff, *.psd). All other formats will be rejected by the system and
your upload will fail. If you wish to send us a file in a file
format different that these, please contact customer service for
instructions.
The Files must be bigger than 50KB
as too small files are usually bad quality pictures. There is also a
max size limit of 20MB. For uploading larger files please contact
customer service for detailed instructions.
Digital Image Recommendations:
- If scanning the prints, please set it to scan at 300 DPI or
higher. Better the resolution of the picture, the better output on
the
personalthrow.
- Digital Camera pictures taken
from a 3 Mega Pixel or higher camera are recommended.

Scans of prints made from an inkjet printer are not
acceptable unless
using a photo quality printer.

Very Blurry, Grainy or Out of
Focus picture usually cannot be corrected enough to give optimal
results.
- A Picture
with 16 faces or a man standing at a far distance are not good
candidates, as in weaving process very fine details are usually
lost.
Uploading
- How long does it take?
It can take as little as a few seconds or as long as several minutes
to upload your file. The time will vary, depending on the speed
of your Internet connection and the file size of the photo. For example, it takes
2-4 minutes to upload a single 400 KB
file over a 56kbps modem connection.
Should I do anything special if I'm on AOL?
Uploading files from America Online (AOL) can be difficult because
AOL limits your inactive time on the Internet. To avoid this problem,
we recommend keeping your AOL e-mail account open at the same
time you are uploading your files.
